About:

Barnum Woods Elementary School’s student council – which includes studneta thletes- presented March of Dimes with a check for $650 to support their campaign for healthier babies.

During the last week of October, members of the fourth and fifth-grade student council informed classes about the campaign and explained that all proceeds from their pumpkin fundraiser would help premature babies have a fighting chance for survival. For one dollar, students, faculty and administrators purchased a pumpkin and wrote a small message on it. The pumpkins were then displayed around the building.
